Pagan folklore is filled with stories of strong, fighting women and goddesses. In the British Isles, prior to the arrival of Christianity, women were worshipped as the harbingers of all life and were allowed to bear arms and become Druids. They were treated as men's equals and were honoured as much for their minds as for their bodies.
We will be bringing you stories of fighting women and goddesses from around the world as always accompanied by the multi-instrumental soundscapes of Tim Karp.
